I'm aware of what Grehan has published regarding Arles and the difficult situation regarding mooring!

That said, just wondered whether anyone has been thorugh recently and noticed any changes? Looking to stop , preferably overnight, next weekend! If its all too difficult will route directly to the Saint Gilles ecluse. I have a crew member who wishes to join us and Arles station is ideal.

We stopped last year; only place was outside restaurant barge on right bank - food tolerable.

The 'word' is that the restaurant barge is quite happy to be be rafted against.
I was in Arles four weeks ago, but couldn't stop long - it looked to me (from the town side and then driving across the bridge) like a couple of boats were moored against the concrete quayside but I can't believe that this would be sustainable for long - liable to damage.

We motored straight through. Glad we hadn't planned to stop there, couldn't see anywhere! If the restaurant barge works, then great, but otherwise I think the only option would be to enter the canal and moor up in there.
