My boat is based in Brittany and, judging by previous years, any increase in the fees I pay to Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan will be small.

CPM offers a discount (2% I think) for prompt payment of the whole year's fees in January.
Same as Poignard. If mine goes up more than 100 Euros, I'll be surprised.

I wouldn't be surprised if the covid chicken comes home to roost.

All those that, in my opinion, complained about mooring fees coz they couldn't use their boats due to a global pandemic, may find marina operators will claw back the dosh.

Hope I'm wrong......

I pay monthly and it was £398 a month and is now £414 from April next year.

Discount for early payment of the full amount in advance next month but the early sign up discount went during covid.

Has to be said that the MDL marina offers fewer services and discounts plus there are fewer staff on site now too and no free gift like we used to get.

When I used Premier their pay-ahead deal was really one of the better ones .
Changed hands , Well-being something or other Trust, different times, different boat market but , equally , a contracting economy ( again ) as well …hmmmm

With swinging increases like that sailing will revert back to the sport of the very wealthy and lose a many of us who just manage to fund their hobby.
Which will result in a lot of cheaper boats coming to the market & more people willing to "give it a go" & so the cycle continues.  ?
But there are always people waiting to take one's place. I expect that most well placed, tidy, marinas, in the wealthier areas, will have no issues filling spots.
Visitors do take up empties & some marinas have to turn late arrivals away in busy times.

4% increase at our marina for year commencing 01/04/23 paid annually. Bill presented Feb for settlement by 30/03/23
There is facility for monthly payment, but I cannot understand why anyone would want to pay extra. Unless they intended to abscond mid season. :(

15% increase for next year . I paid early and in full to take advantage of discount. The marina is full, with significant waiting list, their costs will go up, it does not feel fair, it is excessive, but that is market forces for you.
