Are you taking the p1ss?

Somebody kindly deposited two slightly scuffed but otherwise fine 8" fenders beside the bins which reinforced my stock.

I picked up a similarly abandoned boathook the other day. The tube had buckled and torn about 10" from the end, but that's easily cut out and the plastic bit refitted.

One of my pet hates. Want a galvanised bucket for your charcoal heater, proper jerry can or a tin jug for boiling water? Sorry, it's all "shabby chic" and l@@k! now. $$$ of course :(

Second that-it took me ages in the spring to get a galvanised coal chute/scuttle at a normal price and enameled plates!

Not exactly noted for his spelling skills and I wonder what his postage would be to up here in NW Scotland-probably £40!

I've just had a quick look through some of his other stuff. He certainly knows how to charge and everything, and I mean everything seems to be described as "vintage".

You're right he does know how to charge!! Looking at his diverse stock I would think he could be classed as "King Of The Car Boot Sale"!

There's an "antique" shop just down the road from me that sells broken old tat for stupid money.

I saw and old rusty garden trowel in there a while back for £25!

So there must still be too many people around with more money than sense. Come back Darwin!!

Unfortunately for the "dealer" Ebay helpfully shows other fenders at the bottom of the listing. From 99p.

Ah, but the 99p ones are spotless whereas the ones in the OP's link are nicely distressed. Any antique dealer will tell you that "distressed" items are worth far more!
