I have 2 aerials surplus to requirements. Are they of use to anyone?

1 x Shakespeare Galaxy 5248 Wi-Fi 2.4GHz approx 70cm overall.
1 x Shakespeare Galaxy Phase III 6237 Dual band cellular approx 2.6m overall.

Both were mounted but removed within a day or two.. So virtually brand new.

I have them in Guernsey, and will give them away provided carriage is paid. Just PM me.

Haha, I see your point.
But nowadays, we only use a mobile modem for data connection, and in some of my favourite spots the coverage is a bit weak.
So, I would hope that a cellular aerial on the radar arch could help.
Otoh, I'm not so sure to have any use for the Wi-Fi aerial, but you never know...

LOL

I have used wifi extenders before. On the whole they are a load of hassle unless you are in one point connecting to only one access point.

The reason is that if you want to change access point you have to enter an old style screen and mess about until it connects.

To just connect to the local bar you know the code to on a constant basis they are fine.
