The Garmin website is a complete mistery or should that be misery to this simple engineer - I need some replacement parts and can I find them nope!

So I trundle along to my really helpful chandler and ask them to source the items, no luck Garmin appear to have locked down so tightly the have not realised that in England we can get to the boat and need parts.

If anybody from Garmin is reading this will you please get your people working from home and do what you need to do to support the boaters out there.

They’re definitely working. I needed a repair on an out of warranty GMI20. Phoned them up and arranged an exchange for a reconditioned one. Took just over a week to get it back which is fair enough considering. Price was ok too.
Have you tried phoning them?

Thanks for the info MarcCX

I've not called them but the chap in the chandler has. He tells me he has a long list of customers wanting stuff.

Option 4 then 1
There’s a queue, so I suppose there’s someone there.
Or you can wait for 45 minutes then the system goes click.

As mentioned in the above post I've lots of other stuff to get on with. I can still get to sea without some of the fancy electronics.
