Today was a bright sunny and warm day with a fresh (f3/f4) Northerly, so the lake was a bit cooler with small white horses.
If I'd still had my sail boat I'd have been out there all afternoon as it was a super sailing day.
But now I'm a MOBOer I decided it would be a bit cool and windy and didn't go out.
Is this normal?

I have done enough rough weather stuff when I worked and "had to get back for monday" to last me a lifetime.

Now I'm retired (well a part-time instructor/commercial anyway) - I only go when its lovely.

Yep - Im a softie.

Part of the problem is speed. I was overtaken across the Caernarfon bar the other day by a MoBo trying to plane & pounding mercilessly. After a few hundred yards they were looking very green & turned back. While we sailed serenely on at a decent hull speed with no problems.
