are all transducers 150 hertz

thanks to all that replied to my "transducer check" question.
after a few checks and tests i beleive it to be dead.
now i need to look at a replacement i need to know are all transducers 150 hertz.
echo sounder type,led ring display.
i know its old but the display seems to work with led and beeps working.

Nasa marine transducers are 150Khz and work with seafarer,space age and most other 150khz sounders.

Seafarer transducers work with NASA and vice versa - I have just fault found a dodgy NASA transducer, by replacing it with Seafarer, from an old unit - it works perfectly

To save you time, the Raymarine transducers (e.g. for the ST60 stuff) is 200Khz. I don't know if any of their older units support 150Khz.

I've probably come in a bit late on this, the answer is "no". Most UK manufacturers started on 150 khz, not actually sure about all of them, but certainly Navico and probably all. As manufacturers discovered the bucks were all across the pond they gradually changed over to 200 khz which Americans prefer.

Eventually this left only Nasa as a 150 khz transducer producer, and they supplied Seafarer until its demise.

I can supply a Nasa 150 khz transducer and will refund it if you don't need it. All you lose is the postage both ways.

Would that work with my seafarer depth still? I never used it as the boat next to me borrowed my transducer as i hadent fitted it, and then left for Spain!! about 15 years ago!!

How much does a nasa transducer cost?

whilst we\'re on the subject of Depth Sounders

We have an ST50 (used to be Autohelm now Raymarine) Tri-Data display head.
The depth part decided not to work this weekend - very handy ... NOT. I've had this problem before and thought I'd resolved it - the problem being a dodgy connector - obviously not though /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif - it now just displays 0m and the depth label flashes....

I'm now faced with the task of getting the depth working by next Saturday ... 8:00 AM !!
My initial thought is that if it isn't a cabling problem then it must be the transducer (a Z091) - thru Hull low profile - non removable - without a liftout anyway ..

So - is an in Hull sender a reasonable replacement? the E66008 works at 200 and 50kHz but I don't think our display allows a selection - so what will it transmit at?
I do intend to call Raymarine tomorrow, but wondered if anyone else has had this problem...
