Yo there. So I rumble to Horta from SXM and have a think. Lanzarote parkup over summer would be Ace! Cos easy to get back to carib next year see? BUT... have zey got any planes to UK? Hm? Mojo =60 ft by 28ft so i will need advice and radio call if I smash things at the pointy end...

Otherwise Gib almost as ace but sadly no Flames, and then Lanza after National Drunks Day Sept 10. Then plane-free train or [edit] lift to UK etc.

Otheriwse if everyone hates everyone and all still shut, then UK, Hamble or Puerto Solente, and everyone hating each other and especially large loon catameringue , apart from That Lot on D for Drunks Pontoon will be fine for parkup July+August over summer, and then thrash down to Lanza late aug, ish.

I will fwd Satphone numbers if you around? I have two hulls, two engines, two lifterafts, two sat phones, two arms, no crew.

If trinidad opens and gives me an aeroplane (or part of aeroplane) for transat then I wd park there all lovely in Powerboats marina BUT it's wait and see at the moment. What about planes? Hola Mojo. I see your cunning plan.

Its a bit in crystal ball territory. Back in the world of normal, getting a berth in Rubicon is no problem. Plenty of room for larger cats....a friend sometimes pops in on the Sunreef 74 he skippers.....and lets me sail on.

Dunno whats happening in Azores but Canaries shut down to a couple of flights now and then to Peninsular. No passengers. And only inter island ferries. No passengers (I think). Latest rumours from conferencing Canary Pres to Peninsular Pres is that this may go on to September or October. As in well into hurricane season. I had a delivery booked from Guatemala to UK in a few weeks. So that's out the window til next year...

Marinas shut. Be a bit of a bummer to sail here then have to sit outside at anchor having food delivered........and no flights.

I suppose you could self certify using Trumps plan to sit under a UV lamp and mainline bleach so they will let you in somewhere but I would let someone else try it first.


Should the doombug decide its had enough and take a summer holiday, theres always a welcome in the One Bar. So yeah, do please send Satphone number, will help if I can.

Wouldn't get too excited. The decision to re open the islands to foreigners (awright, international travellers) is far far away. Another big conference to be held on Sunday with Madrid with some proposals to ease some restrictions over a 4 week period to see if infection rate stays same. I stress this is for residents only.
