Arbosil 1096 supplier in Glasgow

I've been told this is the best stuff for sealing glass into aluminium frames. Anyone know a supplier in Glasgow? Can't even find any on ebay either.

Or maybe it was filtered in keeping with the alleged, er, carefulness of the Scots. Have you seen the price?
Googling gives plenty of on-line suppliers, too.

No idea what the stuff's like, by the way, although I have a deep aversion to most forms of silicone.

Must be some size of tube for £120! , as you say being thrifty its a little too expensive for my taste. Will speak to the manufacturers tomorrow but I see they don't have a Scottish distributor.

120 tubes, so for £120 you can become the Scottish distributor.

Better but still seems expensive. I got mine from EC Smith but can't find it on their site now. IIRC it cost <£5/cartridge.

Also can't remeber where I got mine but it was mail order and definitely under a fiver per tube. The tubes are larger than sikaflex though and you'll need to borrow/beg/buy the larger pistol. Good stuff so far. We'll see what Spring brings....

Thanks for the replies, gave in and ordered it on line, just hate paying more for postage than the tube costs. I hope this works on the windows, spent three evenings cleaning out the old sealant so far.

It depends on the window type and what you are trying to do. Are you trying to seal the glass in aluminium frames, trying to seal a frame flange to a coach roof opening, both?
