Having removed my old chainplates I noticed that Arbormast had been used around the plate that goes through the hole. The boat was built 25 years ago. Also, in a previous thread I was told to use Arbormast for my deck hatches.
Should I stick to using Arbormast or do people now use Sikaflex these days? Being based in Thailand means getting hold of Arbormast could be difficult. I have emailed the company about purchasing/shipping to Thailand but received no reply. Sikaflex 292 and 295 are the most freely available products, plus a couple of 3M equivalents.
Any thoughts gratefully received, thanks.
