Can't see top of mast but know I've an Old Aqua Signal Tri/Anchor unit...
Looks as though the new quickfit would be a simple replacement...
But are the mountings the same?
From what I can find out the new model has three fasteners ? machine screws? or self tappers? Don't know what size they are or the PCD...
I wonder if it's base is an exact replacement for the original Non Quickfit Light...
Can anyone remember???
And I have searched the site without finding the answer...!!
Cheers Bob E...

The old one has a triangular mounting plate with, obviously, three screws. I would think, from memory, about M3. The type of screws are what ever the installer chose to use I would think. Mine are machine screws I am pretty sure. I fitted it but best part of 30 years ago.

I regret I have no idea if the screw spacing is the same on old and new units, I expect I'll find out soon as I think I will have to repace mine as well.

Sorry not really much help!

Thanks that's good news.
I think I'll swap to the quickfit then...
The lenses are well crazed and it seems almost impossible to get new ones..
So it's an upgrade..
Thanks again Cheers Bob E....

Probably an Aquasignal 40

That came in 2 varieties, the quikfit and standard.

My lens disintegrated last summer (after 17 years the last 5 in the Med understandably) and I just replaced the lens-unit, (which comes off for bulb-replacement) leaving the old base and bulb-holder.

No problem, even though the replacement was the standard and the original the quikfit.
