We were just in Fowey on a pontoon, with a couple of Princesses one Called Strood something , the guy approached on foot talking with a weird twang he says were you from Boslem I says he says we are from Medway . I shouts to wife start the engines while I cut the ropes and we flee the pontoon.

We here on the Mudway regard it as a part of "noblesse oblige" to explore wild dark corners of the UK and to try to explain patiently to the indigenous population , (speaking loudly and slowly) the advantages of civilisation ie. How to make a decent G & T , that sandles are never worn with socks and that a handerchief on the head is not cool.
