Last trip out of the season and cruising at 3200 rpm, when starboard engine started to lose revs down to 2800 in about 5 seconds but then recovered in same time back to 3200. This repeated approx. every 2 minutes until reaching port. On return trip everything fine at lower revs but once over 3000 same thing happened. Where do I start looking for the cause or has anyone else had this happen and can tell me what they did.

Check your diesel filters... I think they are full of dirt.

When did you change them for the last time?

Agreed filters blocked, check for bug, classic case. Change filters, Add Soltron. Run and run them and keep changing filters as needed. 500 miles will see the problem gone. AaRrgg dont do 500 miles a season. OK then just live with it, it will get worse. Fuel drained from filters should look like wine, not cloudy at all. Mostly fuel drained off little used engines is ****. So mostly keep the boat going and see few problems.

Primery and secondary filters, that little screen filter in lift pump, air filter as well ?
