Hi all,
I am just sanding down previous coat of antifouling on my old boat. Compared to the age they are not that many, according to the previous owner there was an epoxy barrier coat applied 15 years ago...
I noticed that at some points the paint is easier removed than on others. So at some points there are patched where i reached the gelcoat (at least it looks like) while at others there are still layers of antifouling.
I clearly have many other pending task so i dont want to strip the boat and apply a new epoxy barrier coat. But would it make any sense to apply a 2 component epoxy product in those patches?? I guess it surely cant hurt.....
Btw. Does anyone has experience with NAutix P0 primer. Its a non epoxy based 1 component sealing product.
