Spent rather too much time playing with my new toy, but it's fun tweaking the sailing-related options on offer :)

eg
Time
Moon phase
Tides
Wind strength and direction
Pressure
Compass

A whole lot better than a watch I once bought for sailing: a Tidemaster Tacticel. Don’t believe the hype, it was a £5 watch sold for £100. Piece of rubbish.

I really can’t bring myself to but an Apple Watch but the functionality looks great. Meanwhile I’ll stick with my Rolex...

I have an Android watch. The most useful function for me is being able to leave my phone safely charging on the chart table in the saloon but not missing any calls, texts or emails while elsewhere on the boat. Replacing my last phone which I lost overboard from my pocket was an expensive lesson.

May I enquire which apps you use to get and display the data? I have a Watch 6 and it would be useful to have similar available to view easily. Currently using the Weather app I can see wind speed and direction, weather, and temp, but tides and pressure info would be handy.

Yes I think 2 apps that do tides

Tides Pro
Tide Pro

I prefer the latter- I think it offers more UK stations. Bit of fiddling needed- but PM me if you have any issues...

For pressure, I thinks it’s Carrot

For wind, I think Carrot or the generic Apple weather (which I use)
