My apologies
to all who have sent me p.m's that I did not reply to,
did not mean to ignore them, just did not know that I had received any,
did not realise what the flashing thingy was for,
Suppose being a poor Cornish country boy who still lives in the dark ages
is not much of a excuse, But it.s the only one I have, Next time I play
with something I WILL READ THE INSTRUCTIONS,promise.

feeling a right prat

Believe me you are not alone :)

Many thanks for mentioning this because I didn't know either but having read your post I clicked on it and found that I had three :)

Due to personal ineptitude in understanding the relevance of a flashing letter/mail thingy, I have missed out on responses dating back to August last year, so, whilst I may not wish to be designated a prat of whatever magnitude, I do feel somewhat inclined to acknowledge a certain degree of pratness and to ask that those who may have previously anticipated a response forgive the shortcomings of the terminally unable such as myself.
Why do I have to find out the hard way? I didn`t mean to offend. Perhaps it's the way of thing these days. In my day, all that occurred to offend was the carrier pigeon crapping on one's cuff.

Can I be Prat 7 please?? My son has just resurrected my PC, which had become so slow that surfing was out of the question - essential use only - and in getting back on YBW I chanced upon the Control Panel, which told me I had seven unread messages dating back months. I never knew that. Apologies to all respondents. I still don't understand what the flashing thingy is but I have added control panel to my favourites and will "come in" through that so I can instantly see if there are any messages.

Bit of help.

The flashing "thingy" is there to tell you you have new messages, if you click on it, your messages will be displayed.
Note: if you then use the "back" button, the flashing "thingy" will still be there untill you press "refresh" / "reload".
