Mine got kind if drowned with seawater coming in the exhaust the other day. Outlet is placed very close to the waterline, and the goose neck is obviously not high enough. Boatbuilders make stupid things sometimes... I have a shield mounted over the outlet, and am about to fit in a drainage lock between heater and gooseneck now. But probably wont be enough to keep violent seas from reaching the heater.
Anyways, the info control panel started saying "overheat", which does not make any sense since it has only been used for ventilation last couple of weeks. Clearing errors in the menu did nothing, so I turned it off and on. Now it says "Connection error". I am thinking that the circuit board probably needs to be replaced? But would like to learn a little bit more before I buy one and go at it...
