All the post delivery “teething” problems have been eliminated and is offered with
our Trader Premier Plus warranty

what an unusual thing to mention .....

[ QUOTE ]
You will wait at least 15 months for a new vessel,
and then you will have at least 12 months of teething problems.
Why Wait?
Why Have The Hassle?

Can you believe they printed this?

EDIT Edit: beaten by Tome. heh Think we both hit the tit at the same moment!

The last paragraph is telling too:

(the emphasis is from the original).

I see that This trader, similar to Gludy's..... can boast

Extra Options:
• “Superyacht” Joinery

I wonder if Ocean Deep had that option?

Yes Andy - Ocean deep has the superyacht joinery = paid a fair whack extra for this option.

Here is an example:-

Also on this they must have used superyacht woodfiller!

I'm possibly making 2+2=5, but "Lady Penelope" is now an Horizon 20m motoryacht based in Alcudia. This is the actual boat featured in the MBY review a couple of months ago.

It looks like Horizon may have taken the Trader in p/x and, as they have no need to talk the brand up, they just want to sell it on and get there money out of the deal.

It could even be that they, are aware of Gludy's problems and are actually emphasising the fact that this is a "sorted" example.

Also just noticed that the Horizon 20m "Lady Penelope" is now up for sale

Horizon, as I understand it, are no longer a Trader dealer - they have taken a delivery of a Trader, spent on it to get it right and are now selling it on a a sorted version. I do know they only sell their own Horizon boats now that are made in a different yard.

So we are talking ex-dealers here.

As an update - (the emails are on the Icean Deep site), Tarquin/Trader are currently refusing to replace these thruster props - they want to grind them down and then paint them. The image was taken 72 hours after leaving Emsworth and the same thruster props had no anodes on them when lifted out of thwe water at Emsworth but still they refuse to simply replace!!!!

Paul

I think you are right they are no longer a Trader dealer hence my comment that "They don't need to talk the brand up"

Yes.

Without vebturing into dangerous thread pulling areas, I know they have spent serious money ensuring that boat is up to scratch. Hence they are wanting to somehow express in their adverts that this partciular Trader has been through their process so as to isolate it as unique amongst new Traders...... I think I have stepped on no flowers with that wirding. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Lets face it, if in public, I am struggling to get responses and we are disagreeing about some pretty basic things, then what chance is their for .......... sorry, I am entering thread pulling territory and will stop now /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
