Anyone used the blue 15 day masking tape?

Has anyone used the blue 15 day masking tape? Did you leave it on for a few days and did it come off again ok?

I left it for 6 weeks, and it came off without leaving any residue at all.

It's good stuff. For a perfect edge, 3M Fine Line Tape is the dog's danglies.

Well worth the extra money if you are going to leave it on for more than a day.
If you have a part roll left over from last season - can still be used - unlike the white which annoyingly tends to tear off the roll every 6 inches or so
Also seems to be a bit stretchier than the white - so is quite good a masking up small radius curves.

was very dubious about it as it was so expensive, but we left it on for 10 days and it peeled off a treat..

Must be different stuff to the 3M sold in Turkey! Not long had my boat out of the water and used 2" blue tape made by 3M - and it was awful stuff, only on for a couple of days and when you tried to remove it, it tore after just a few inches. Everyone else here had the same problem, so maybe it was a bad batch, affected by the heat, fake 3M, or whatever else. Maybe we were just unlucky!! Can't win 'em all can we?

Yes, me too. Brilliant stuff. Use it at home too from time to time. Well worth the few extra pennies!

I'll always go for blue in future. the agro of cleaning off white reside isn't worth it.

I used it - just once - in UK. It might have been old stock or a bad batch, but it took me hours to get off. Good to hear that others have been luckier.
