Anyone used MJ Marine trimmers in Hockley?

Need a little job done on my new saloon infill berth cushion, wondered what they are like to deal with.

Rubberduck sent me here as apparently they are known...

MJ Marine Trimmers

Can't help you with feedback right now but they are about to retrim the whole of my Phantom flybridge. Recommended by JFM of this parish.....If they are as good as I've been told I'll let you know in a couple of weeks or so......

They're excellent fullcircle. They redid the whole of my boat (even tho it was new) and did top job. Martin Duce the boss there is excellent to deal with. Very fair pricing too they're my first port of call for boat upholstery

Yup, having been recommended by jfm of this parish, Martin there has just made a complete set of cockpit cushions and seat backs for me.

Brilliant to deal with
great on pricing
delivery time spot on - 3 weeks from start to finish for 11 pieces
perfectly done and packed

will post pics when they are all fitted

Cant recommend highly enuf.

Hmm, they were a bit offish on the phone (or me being sensitive) and asked me to ring again sometime next week when they might come and look at the job.
I need it to be a bit more positive than that.

I've no idea of the specifics but it may be they got the impression this was a bit of a schlepp to BoC for a small job that the customer might say no to on hearing the price?

I dont know what schlepp to BoC means?

I am not known for being close with a buck when I want a job done. I rank quality over price every time.

Likewise and given the recommendations in this thread, i'd be inclined to just drop said cushion off at a mutually convenient time and let them get on with it. Seems pointless them making the journey to BoC to price such a small job.

The boat is in Rochford, less than 4 miles from their factory, and its 3 inter-related pieces of work, so needs a visit.

I'm just picking up on this thread as I Googled MJMarine and this page came up. Does anyone have pics of the work done, as the MJMarine website gallery doesn't appear to work. They sent a very keen looking quote, but I would be happy to hear about others experiences of their work.
