Anyone recognise this Mercedes engine?

Hi Guys

Looking for a friend at boats - come across a 1980 boat with these engines in power is quote at 370hp but not sure if that is the pair or each.. top speed listed says its the total to me.

Anyway if anyone can ID that would be great..

It looks like a variant of the old OM360 to me....

Has it got an engine plate fitted? has it got any numbers marked on it?

If so it can be traced through the Mercedes system or often through the boat manufacturers system and this will identify which engine and its ratings.

It may not be a marine engine and if it is a marinised diesel unit the engine numbers and codes may help.

I have been scanning Google images for something similar but coming up short.

It's a picture from a boat for sale locally a 1980 Bertram (Australian made version) I assure you there will be no records but may be an engine plate. I just haven't seen the boat so just going off advert pictures

I'm not sure they are the original engines as they are in boxes rising above the rear deck... No idea what the original ones would have been except possibly some petrol variant.

Any further clues would be appreciated as is the help so far..

Like I mentioned...Im pretty sure its an OM360....they came in n/a and turbo variants.....found in agricultural equipment amongst other things....if you can find the engine number parts will still be available through any merc commercial dealer.
