We are heading out after fitting our new alternator tonight.

Hoping that we are going to get out onto the Tidal Trent this weekend so that we can try out Naughty-Cal's new props. We switched from A4 to J4 over the winter and have up until now not had the chance to get off the ditch and try them out.

Would be nice to see if they make any difference before they get damaged

Just done Chertsey Marine to Shepperton. Shepperton lock on self service. Very wet, cold, and horrible. Now tucked up at home.

Didn't get out on the river but did stay on board Friday night. Miserable weather but at least we proved we could stay comfortable in colder than usual conditions - ebersplutter and electric blanket ruled ok !

We had a lovely weekend out on the boat. Weather wasn't always that nice but with the Webasto turned up we were toasty warm. Managed to try the new props out and open her up for the first time this year and all was well. Now bring on the summer.

was out last weekend cold friday night, and sat.Cracking day Sunday. Did spot ashmount at her new mooring.

I've serviced the engines and cleaned her inside and out. The forecast isn't too bad for the weekend, so we're heading off in the morning. Does anyone know if Thames Ditton are doing fuel, or is the nearest place for a fill up down this end Shepperton?

First trip of the year toady - Penton to Runnymede. Both locks manned, a few other boats out but moorings here deserted. River still running at quite a rate.

First trip for us too. We're staying out until Monday morning, not planning on going far, it's just nice to be back on the river.

First mate is doing a great job of supervising the new crew member

Wimp ! Just back at the marina and pleased to say most things seem to be working, especially the ebersplutter.
However one of my windscreen wipers had gone awol - thanks to Ramage for noticing as I hadn't !!

We had another great weekend afloat.

Serviced the engine on Saturday morning and then spent the rest of the weekend enjoying ourselves.

It was a bit chilly in the shade but the Webasto soon got the boat toasty warm.

Now looking forward to the bank holiday weekend and our run down to Hull.
