I have bought on ebay some sailmaking bits from a person in Burton, a mile or two N of Christchurch. The items are all paid for.
He is going away on a long overseas contract tomorrow and I was due to drive over and collect the pieces this evening.
However, I am suddenly car-less, as dearly beloved offspring with the family runabout has - due to academic circumstances beyond her control - changed her arrival time from 6pm to well after midnight.
Is there anyone in proximity to Burton (BH23) who could collect the following items
20 cobs of sewing thread
A grommet press
6 rolls of double sided tape
and some other small items
and store them for me for about a week until I am free again and can get down to the South Coast please ? Items are about the size of a large suitcase, I gather.
Appropriate beer tokens in exchange for this emergency service, of course.
(And to compound the problem, I now will be away from this desk with livestock until after 7:30 this evening.)
