I beleive the last owners of Lady Sapphire were Pete and Dawn Buckingham, Pete sadly died a few years ago and the boat was sold. I could probably find out in a couple of weeks if you have no luck on here.
Carician is currently moored at Benson and is still owned, I think, by the guy who set up the Bel & Dragon restaurants - I believe he now only owns the one in Reading on the Kennet and where he kept the boat until last year.

thanks, sorry to hear that news, i would love to have brought her, cruised miles in her as a boy all round france channel islands, south coast & thames, one of my favourite memories is beating TMYCs Royal Sabine in a PHYC boat Handling Comp in her when i was 12 (1984), she really is a fantastic sea boat, been caught in some real nasty seas, trim her nose up & she would just plough on through, dad would leave harbour in pretty much any sea state because she was so good, same goes for Carican really but just have an attachment to the old Lady

Lady Sapphire, a 1967 Storebro, owned by Mr Alan Levell, was at the Trad Rally at Henley (for the last two weeks!!). I left on Saturday, but felt it was still there, although many more moved over the weekend. There's also a Royal (I think also a 30') for sale at Mill Meadows, Henley, but that would too much of a co-incidence if it was the same one. Tony Goodhead was the chairman of the Rally - PM me and I'll send you contact details.

Lady Sapphire is still on the Thames, she is currently being restored at a yard in Windsor and should be launched at the end of August 2012, so in a few weeks. If you would like to come and see her once she's on her mooring then please do.
