Anyone know the size of the Rutland 913 bearings?

Looking to replace the two bearings in a Rutland 913 wind generator. I know you can get them from Marlec but at £27 each, I'm sure they are available off the shelf somewhere. I thought I had bookmarked a page that listed the bearing numbers but can't seem to find it ?.

You can indeed get them much cheaper. I recently did mine. I will try and find the number and get back to you.

Use a decent brand like SKF

They are equivalent to the Marlec 6202 2NSE

6202 is a standard size 2ns is neoprene shields you can use 2rs as well ! Small for a wind gen though.

For my 914 I looked up the parts on the marlec website where they quoted the bearing number so looked them up on simply bearings. I think they were 6202 and are probably the same for the 913.

Done mine about a month ago used SKF 6202 2RS about £6.00 for the two of them plus you need the loctite 641 bearing sealer to secure them in the housing .

Easy to do , you will need a bearing puller to remove the old bearings . If you look on U tube there are some very good detailed step by step instructions ,just follow one and you won’t go wrong .
