Ok, but surely you can chip a bit out of the C2C quote by just having it delivered to Calais and then bringing it the last 100m on it's own bum? So your £8k might end up being nearer £6k, no?

Yes possibly. In the scheme of things though it's not make it break over £2k. If I go for the boat I'll see what can be done to mitigate it

Possibly, although the wagon has still got to get from SoF to Portoz - and I think that extra leg of several hundred miles would kill the economics. Either way - if you're still thinking about this in three months time (when my boat's going back down, hopefully) then by all means shout.

For what it's worth, your F34 would fit on my berth in Port Vauban. So no probs about finding a berth in the SoF, and you could stay there until my boat comes back down, however long that might be.
