Anyone know/ recommend a surveyor in La Rochelle, France ?

Question as title : does anyone here know/ recommend a surveyor in La Rochelle, France ? I tried the IIMS and YDSA websites but drew a blank. English-speaking is a requirement 'cos my French is not very good.

Only prob is his English was not up to it 3 yrs ago when I used him for an insurance survey. Not too important if you are with him, but dealing at a distance might be tricky.

Get yourself a copy of Le Parler Marin from Voiles & Voiliers, good french/english pictoral dictionary.

You can fly daily from Southampton to La Rochelle. Might be worth considering using a Southampton based surveyor. Probably a bit more expensive with flight and overnight, but less chance of misunderstanding, report in English and you are covered by UK law.

Also I am told that the French surveyors do not operate in quite the same way as UK, but I don't know the details.
