Not in a boat, did 24hours there a few years ago supporting another engineer at ILVA, most mental drivers I've ever met anywhere in the world. Hope they don't Helm their boats the same. Did look very pretty though!

The city of Naples isn't anything to rave about, dunno why the phrase 'see naples before you die' came about. City is very cramped, dirty, mad drivers and lots of muggers

However go spend a day or two in Pompei, absolutely fantastic and worth putting up with Naples IMHO.

Bay of Salerno

Trip we did last year

Salerno- Amalfi- Capri - and back

Salerno is nice, esp. the boardwalk. Marina less nice

Amalfi is a treat, but we didn't know that when you moor temporarely for shopping, you need to ask whether you had topay anything. No you don't, but you have to ask.

Capri is full after 14h30, so come in early. Capri itself is filled with tourists, but they all leave after 18h30. Watch for high speed ferries coming in and out of grande marina. Picolo Marina is great for lying at anchor, but a bit roly.
