Anyone know \'Miss Behaving\'

A small powerboat, in the Clyde area? Maybe you were in the Kames Hotel on Saturday?

If so, could you ask the owner of 'Miss Behaving' to return my pick-up buoy to me?

Yet again, my mooring has been run over by, yes, a mobo. This time my parents saw the boat at 4:45pm from their front window as he caught the mooring round his prop. He managed to free himself by cutting the pickup line, keeping the buoy and bu66ering off towards Colintraive at great speed.

He could have got a bit of string and reattached my buoy to the mooring once he had freed himself.

SWMBO has made it her mission to track him down. Be afraid. Be very afraid!

Yes! I like it! Excellent.

As we watched from our cockpit, a small motor vessel picked up our anchor trip line buoy, the other day; which caused quite a laugh.

Quote "SWMBO has made it her mission to track him down. Be afraid. Be very afraid!" unquote. Keep us informed as to what happens!

Best wishes.

I think she might be based in Kip, the name rings a bell, sorry I can't be more positive ( I mean its only 650 berths to check through!). Sorry to hear about the hassle.

Sounds like a job for NCIS. Why not step up the investigation with a post on the MOBO forum? Or place a reward for info.
Wouldn't like to be in his deck shoes when SWMBO finds out.
Good luck Donald

Turn Up for the books......

Well, we found ourselves in Tarbert on Saturday evening, and as one does we decided on a wee stroll along the pontoons to see who was 'in residence' as it were and well, blow me, a motorboat by the name of 'Miss Behaving' was tied up alongside.

SWMBO, decided that a knock on the hull might solicit someone on deck for a chat - but,. even though there was a handbag in full view in the after bit (I don't know what they would call it on a Mobo) no one came on deck to see who was knocking.

Left it at that and went for a couple of drinks.....

Next morning. Mis Behaving was still there - so I was despatched for a wander along the pontoon, while SWMBO loitered with intent at the Mobo. To cut a long story short, she not only returned with an admission of guilt, an apology and the pick up bouy!

She also advised that in future, if they found themselves in the same predicament, it would be good manners to leave a fender tied in place of the pick up.

Apparently it cost them a haul out at Largs to get the offending rope and buoy removed and they burnt out their 'relays' whatever they could be....

Shame.

All's well that ends well. As they say.
