Anyone know \'Bojangle\' from Poole

I was rude to the good people on Bojangle in Studland last Saturday and would like to apologise. I used some rather colourful language (how DID they hear it above the engines) when they passed too close whilst we were anchored and I was on the coachroof trying to tame a violent mainsail where the reeflines were tangled (first outing with a new sail). They did try to slow down but it was too late to avoid their wash adding to the mayhem ttrying to smash my head with the boom!

There was no excuse for my bad languge though and I apologise unreservedly.

We draw 2.08m (6'10" in old money) and had dropped anchor a fair way out as a result since it is a very shallow anchorage and the tide was dropping fast, it probably wasn't obvious we were anchored as they were headed much closer in?

Re: Anyone know \'Bojangle\' from Poole

there was a not too disparate posting recently where a powerboat skipper retrospectively thought he might not have managed a situation as well as he might.
I wish you luck in braving your confession and hope you dont get too many smart replies from those who are so lucky as to be forever beyond reproach.
Lets hope we can rely on PWC owners to put an end to this reasonable behaviour.
