Anyone know an Alternator repair shop near Plymouth?

My expensive Prestolite/Leece Neville 24v 80amp alternator is dead. After just 4 years and around 700 hours.
That's about £80 per annum and 50p per hour.
Does anyone know a repair shop near Plymouth?
I don't want one of these intermediaries who just send it off to their local specialist.
I want to go to the specialist direct, if possible.
BTW, I contacted Adverc who supplied it but they were just not interested, so I re-fitted my old alternator which came out of the arc, but still works and keeps me mobile while we are still in France

There used to be an alternator/battery shop in Exeter Street near Cattedown roundabout. Don't know if they repair on site though.

Yep the shop is still there, had one repaired off my Volvo engine, cost under £100 as against being quoted £600 by a Volvo dealer.

That company sorted us out when Volvo agent could not help us at all. The starter solenoid failed on our old Volvo engine, and the Volvo agent could not offer any suggestions at all. The local scrap yard said don't buy one from us, go round the corner to "the starter etc."!!!! Boat was on passage from Falmouth to the Deben on a week when there was no wind. They are very helpful and the prices are keen.
