Anyone know a boat mechanic in Lake District?

Does anyone have contact details for boat diesel mechanic in Lake District? I'm sure there is a mobile guy in white sherpa. I'm hoping to avoid the really dear services of Windermere big marinas, but the boat is confined to lake or car park in Windermere.

I'm nearly brave enough to do top end overhaul on Yanmar YSM12, but not quite! I'd do it at home, but on the boat it has to work first time.

I've used Martin Yates for outboard stuff, it won't cost owt to ask if he does home visits 01524 751 750 .

There is a freelance bloke in Kendal who used to work for Shepherds who is a genius on outboards and outdrive installations. You're best bet is to ring Shepherds and ask if they have his number. I got him that way, but have lost his number.
