Anyone in Sant Carles tomorrow (Sunday 7th June)

Thinking of a blast down from Empuriabrava to take a look at Sant Carles, anyone around tomorrow? (Sunday 7th June)
Any recommendations for good value for money hotels?

The best Hotel IMO is the Miami Mar.

I've booked my parents in there for a week in July.
You might find it a bit expensive but last time I checked there were rooms available.
I believe that they had special deal Sunday lunches earlier in the season and those based at the marina spent some of the winter Sundays there.
Other than that its the big place - cant remember the name - something like Sant Carles de la Rapita Hotel or just plain Rapita Hotel.
IMO the Miami Mar is by far the best.

There is quite good lite bite food in the marina bar now. If you like sangrea get Daniella in the bar to make it - she adds all kinds of spirits - but dont drive afterwards!!

As far as forumites at SC
John100156 should be there and maybe James_France - oh yes I believe Azimut_Fusion is there as well at the moment.

We won't be there for a week or so.

Yep, I am sadly in Sunny UK for a week; looking out of the window at very dark rain clouds, wishing I was back in Sant Carles! I believe temps will be 30+C later this week!

Looks like the regular UK two week summer has ended! I do though hope it gets better than this for my fellow Forumites in the UK!

Had lunch in the sun on the back of Buster in the lagoon last Saturday morning, arrived UK in the rain late Saturday night. Already been out on the boat more times this year than the whole of last year when berthed in Torquay! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
