Does the 'acceptable standards' involve them finding the volume control for the flybridge speakers? It seems to be stuck fairly high... Rick Astley was NOT what I wanted as the soundtrack to my tinkering this morning!

Nice looking boat, doesn't seem to suffer too badly on the gelcoat front, unlike some sister ships one could mention...

Are you heading off somewhere? The weather in Poole is not worth sticking around for, unless you know of a Goan summer heading our way..?

thanks JFM.
spent 2 weeks on board 20th jul onwards.
did the the channel islands and went to a nice little village in france called Paimpol.
was quite a drama getting the 92 into the harbour.

been back in Goa last 2 weeks.
just arrived this eve into london will head to poole on sunday.

Justaphoenix..that would be the crew and installers tweaking the outside speakers.
i did specify night club spec sound thru out ...was a bit disappointed with the foredeck so they were adding a few subs and speakers while i was away.
will give you some good music on sunday;-)

Not sure how you're getting to Poole but don't forget it's the Bournemouth Airshow this weekend and the roads are liable to be a bit busy - they're expecting up to half a million visitors I think.

Mind you, not many people get the Vulcan, the BBMF and the Dead Sparrows as part of the handover ceremony.

Goodo. Do you have time to fit the world's best underwater lighting before you load her on the ship? They can do a DMX interface to synch the lights with the music. Fantastic for night time swims in the clear waters where you're heading. If you already have sunseeker's own u/w lights you can just chuck em away and use the same holes. Type "Lumishore" into the search box in YouTube to see them (on my boat) and contact EME on this forum to buy. Cheers

Swimming platform

We've been moored right next to her for the last 4 nights - stunning boat!

One thing, do you know about the crash to the swimming platform? It was there when we arrived, but the platform has since then been removed. If it is all pre-delivery maybe you want to ask them about it?

it happened last week while the boat was in the factory...nothing too serious i am made to believe.

i arr monday ...pop over for a beer ...Bigmoose

Hi Bigmoose, Loving LA3 - we were in Poole in July with Easy Tiger (think you spoke to SHMBO). That must be some sound system, as they were tweaking it back then! Only kidding I thought how great she looked, but the multi-coloured LED's - now you're talking. When are you shipping her out? Maybe we will pop into PYH before you go.... Unfortunately in Barbados for a month so missing all the great weather in the UK.

Bigmoose, i know we've spoken since yr post above. Turns out your Xenons are 55w each, and only 3 across the transom. We know each other so you know I call a spade a spade: that's just pants mate. A 55w Xenon makes much heat and is like perhaps a 20w LED interms of light output (as opposed to heat). I've got more underwater lighting than that on my tender.

The Lumishore lights are 120w each and it's mostly light, not much heat. If you got 3 or 5 across the transom and 2 each side it would look awesome, and would be just right for LA3. The Xenons would look like you ran out of money at the fit out stage :-) In a nice anchorage you need the maximum light wattage you can: it's real hard work getting a light beam to spread say 30m in water - takes a lotta horsepwer and 55w Xenons is just a joke, s'seeker are way off the mark.

Good luck with the Lumishore install, hope all goes well. I'm still delighted 2/3 of season using them. I anchored in Lavezzi island, between Corsica/Sardinai, overnight, about 3 weeks ago. Flat calm, glossy smooth water. I put the Lumishores on turquoise and much of the small anchorage glowed blue. There were lots of sailboats anchored and we'd had some nice chat and banter earlier in the evening and I'd given them some ice. Anyway, about midnight, we had a bit of a swim, then all the guys and girls of the sailboats asked me to turn them to max brightness and they all went skinny dipping. Absolutely hilarious :-) Priceless :-)

Here are mine, this is cyan colur (which means, technically, the red is turned down) so these babies are squirting out say 90w of light each. The beam goes a nice long way and would be awesome with 8 of them

Saw her in PQ Marina last weekend as we strolled past - she looks pretty "acceptable" to me - lovely looking boat.

We're down again Thursday night and will be pottering around Friday prepping for a trip to Weymouth on Saturday. Would love to meet up for a coupla beers and a few laughs if you are still around.

Left for london this afternoon a need to be back at work Monday.
looks like that can wait now. so driving back very early morning before the traffic picks up.
on board LA3 all day tmrow.

Saw you again anchored off Studland yesterday (Monday) looking very spry - she really is a very handsome boat.

Would have come alongside to shout Hello but SWMBO wanted to get back (en route from Weymouth) as we expected the traffic back to London to be bad as it was the Bank Holiday. Maybe another time.

should have dropped by for a cold one!!!!

did the clever thing ...got complete thrashed at anchor...continued at marina.
woke up 10 am and left for london on tuesday...no traffic door to door(west end) in just under 2 hours.
she is being loaed this weekend in soton for its new and more permanent home.
