We are also keeping a close eye on him as well, here in Barbados.
Current predictions suggest that on Saturday he will be at 12N and due south of us - we are at 13N.
I am hoping he does not decide to swerve to the right, and pay us a visit - if the eye is 60 miles south of us, we should miss the worst of his wrath. We certainly will get lots of rain and gusty winds regardless though.
Been watching the forecast for a day or two, still seems to be heading south of Barbados. Seems like it could pass anywhere from St Vincent to Grenada. Might be difficult for all those small islands in between.
Thank you Capn!
Been out all afternoon, just got home and checked on the 2100Z update from www.hwn.org - Gonzalo seems to be weakening, and definitely passing to the south of us by a good margin, so we should just get some gusty winds and a lot of rain tomorrow (Saturday).
Here is the forecast at 2100Z ; we are approx 13N, 59.30W.
