I think you may find thats a Fjord 33. Sorry! I don't have any spec on it in my files. I can tell you this, if its built like they built their motor boats then its built to last.
I think you mean a Fjord 33 Motorsailer
Folkboat style with canoe ends. Two steering positions inner and outer. Sails abit like all motorsailer a compromise. Good sea boat built over here in Scandinvania.
A bit like a Fisher without the high doghouse/wheelhouse.
Think the boat in the pics in your link has been heavily "improved" with lots of added wood. For a time in the 70s, I lusted after a MS33 (sad, I know). As I recall, it was very much a GRP boat, nicely made in Norway.
Not to be confused with the Fjord 28, which has a 'futuristic' look and a catamaran style sail plan i.e. very large genoa, mast 2/3 back and a main that’s not much larger than a mizzen.
Produced in the early to mid 70's and started life as a 31ft, but was extended to 33ft very early in production (only a couple of 31's were built). Designed by Eivind Amble and produced by the Fjord Plast factory in Horten (as far as I can recall). Have seen a couple completely built in wood in Norway (beautifully done), but that's quite a while ago. Later ones produced in GRP and wood, as one link shows. However, most were built in all GRP as last links show. Very well built and should last a long time if well kept. Not a very fast sailor, but better than most motor sailors of that age. Well turn on speed on engine and good seakeeping.
Fjord Plast were the largest Boatbuilders in Norway of that time and did employ more than 600 staff in the late 70's.
