ANYONE HEADING TO CANARIES?

Sorry to post so much...but visiting UK and revelling in not relying on internet cafes! My husband, 11 year old son and I are leaving Algarve in October for Canaries and Caribbean (Van de Stadt Caribbean 40). Would love to hear from anyone else planning same (particularly with kids).
