Anyone had problems with Solar Panel theft?

Just wondering as i'm planning on installing a £150 panel to the aft deck of my boat.

Does anyone have advice on mounting the panels, ie. Stainless Steel kit to mount at pushpit level etc.

you can buy security bolts from Screwfix - they make the opportunist theft a lot more difficult. I'd also mark them using UV pen and indelible markers, and add a Crime Watch sticker, or a Rottweiler in the cockpit.

Mount with nylock or similar stiff nuts. Perhaps fill the screw slots with glue. olewill

£150 => 25 gallons Diesel? - I would thing Diesel theft would be more of a problem in the near future.
