Ok, so I know I said I would keep the W24, but the used boat show seems to offer quite good value (£150 inc lift out, scrub off, choc off and storage ashore) and as a Premier berth holder I only pay 4% if the thing sells.

I am keen to give it a go as a) suprise suprise there may be something else on the horizon and b) the W24 is one of those boats that you have to stick under peoples noses and its now all up together, valeted and in nice condition.

But, if it doesnt sell I have to pay to get it relaunced, which even with bertholder discount is probably another £150 so I wondered if anyone has used the used boatshow at Swanwick and how did you find it? They say last year they sold 30 or so boats, but I dont know if that was from the show or with follow ups. Certainly seems tempting anyway.

I would not waste my money!

I put the Jeanneau sailing boat up with them. I got no interest. 18 months later did sell it too a guy who looked at it in the boatshow but the questions never passed on. Premiere also lost the paperwork and it was never found. A condition of being in the sale is that they have the paperwork before.....but they claimed never to have ours. We also asked for it to be cleaned daily (paid for) but they were too busy. Better off taking it to the Hamble point boatshow in Sept! Having said that the only way to sell a boat in this market is a very reasonable price it seems.

Haven't sold, but bought from them 2 years ago. They were certainly selling and had a large board with the name of each boat an offer had been accepted. Sale was very straight forward.

I put a 19' Chaparral cuddy with them a good few years ago, in fact I think it was then called the Moody used boat show, but had no interest. At the time it seemed it was more suited to selling raggies and larger mobos.
