Mine's on board. Could someone check up on what the guide recommends for Eastbound round the inshore passage, relative to HW Dover. I know its HW Dover -30mins / + 1 hr Westbound, but can't remember the Eastbound recommendation.

Cruising Assoc Armagnac says...

For passing inshore the best time e-bound is Dover +0500 and is possible to Dover -0500. Between these times the S stream is running out of West Bay and the land must be closed to 1-2 cables well North of the Is of Portland: keep close to Chesil Beach in the approach and round the William at at 1-2 cables off.

Re: Cruising Assoc Armagnac says...

Thanks Ken. So, this Saturday it means rounding at 1600 BST, so a reasonably civilized departure from Dartmouth.
