My backup plan of riding my Suzuki Bandit while my car is being unbent has gone awfully wrong, as the bike has gone phut on number 4 cylinder.


Just wondered if anyone has a car I can borrow for a week or so until I get mine back?


Appropriate balance of favours to be discussed.

Broken Bandit,

I have'nt got a car you can borrow, but have got a suggestion to fix the bike: if it's a Bandit with carbs rather than FI, try removing the HT cap and cutting a few mm of the end of the HT lead and re-screwing on the plug cap....it may come back to life?

Thanks Mitch, it has Taylor leads and a Dynacoil pack. Carbs have just been fully refurbished too. We think it is a little more terminal than that. Bit of oil in the exhaust sadly.
Bike is with Dynospeed Developments, who are top, but Paul can't get to it until end of next week.
