I fitted new freshwater pump today. After the usual contortion and cursing in confined spaces I managed to get it fitted OK and turned the power on to test it. I need to adjust the pressure, which the manual describes fine as requiring the adjustment of one of two screws. However it infuriatingly doesn't say which screw is used to do the adjusting, not does it distinguish between those and the screws that hold the damned thing together. I can't get my head in to see the screws so have to work blind.

So I was wondering if anyone who had the same type of pump could give me a pointer. It's a SeaFlo series 33, 12V 11.6LPM.

The one in the very center on the bottom:

Brilliant. Thanks.

You don't happen to know what the screw head is? Philips? Pozi? It's mounted that side down and I'm not good enough to identify the head by touch.

Press your finger hard onto the screw for a few seconds, and then look at the impression.

Or chewing gum.

Great tip. I used blutack in the end.

It required a 2mm Allen key in the end. Not the easiest thing to slot in blind but got there eventually.

Thank you everyone for your help.

Allen key ~ 3 or 4mm

Thanks. I didn't see your post till afterwards, which implies that took me 50 minutes to fit the Allen key (including hunting for it in the bilges three times). It felt that long but I assumed real time was moving slower. :)

Hello, I am also using a seaflow 33 series water pump. It appears from the manual that pump head should be down rather than up. Whoever installed my previous pump had it pump head up in the vertical position. I have also seen online photos with the pump installed head up. Do I need to flip the pump orientation? Is putting it sideways preferable, because I don't want to reverse the orientation of everything. Also it is not a boat, but a food trailer if that is relevant. Thanks.

Pump head down is not required, it just makes sense because when it leaks, it won't leak into the motor. It will work fine in either orientation.
