Anyone got a glassed in blakes seacock

I have sheared one of the four bolts. It would be easier to glass in seacockI rather than try to drill out bolt from outside. I don't fancy my chances of drilling up 2 inches and keeping in centre of bolt. Can't drill down as seacock obstructs drill. Think it should be ok if use 4 layers of tape on top of flange and hull. Anyone done it

My boat has glassed-in Blakes seacocks (no bolts) put in by the builders 47 years ago. They don't give any trouble.

Obviously the pressure from any weap would be in the wrong direction ie trying to peel off the tape rather than pushing it on. So the bonding needs to be good with decent area and well roughened up. Epoxy not polyester.
