If so I have just booked a room for Jan 10th the Friday night at the premier inn which is a few minutes walk away for £39 for a family room

just thought I would let you know in case you are thinking of booking a room anywhere as this seems a good deal

:D

Not missed a LIBS or SIBS in over 20 years, not sure when but will be there for a few days.

£39 is a good price, I usually pay £100 plus

The title misled me....I thought it was an early start to the annual 'LIBS is rubbish and I'm not going' thread!! :-) :-) :-)

£39 is a bargain and I would be booking if we weren't within day trip distance. Pity you can't get such prices in Southampton when the show is on.

We will be there starting the search for a boat with more accommodation for our semi retirement. We intend to go places & do stuff while we still can, unlike our parents who sat / sit in god's waiting room. Probably be a weekend.

The 11. (Saturday) is going to be Return of The Dane (since SIBS), this time with Mrs.

Arrive Friday afternoon to stay in Greenwich. Would like to meet up with others for a drink :D
