anyone going to Henly?

Going on Friday, Will be at the Phyllis court club oposite the finnish. I will be the one with my back to the rowing and face at the bar!

Came through Henley on Sunday and it was like the M25 with lots of rowers cutting me up then shouting....... Fortunately got to the lock at 09.00 so avoided the scrum. Big queues going upstream.

Cheers

Paul

Someone unspeakable has put about the rumour that the Henley stretch of the river has been dredged especially to allow a certain boater to navigate the area without requiring a tow from a passing good samaritan /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif.

Thanks for the tips!

But nightmare: I thought I had sprained my wrist recently... went to have it checked today as it was still sore... and an xray showed it to be fractured. No wonder it hurt! Am now in plaster pending seeing a doc on Wednesday. It might be only a slight fracture, but suspect it will impede my ability to work the new boat back home from T&K /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Might have to get the (what is the phrase for wife?) to do deck work. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
