New toy is arriving and I wouldn't mind a text from someone to confirm when (if) it does. Have to work /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif so can't be thee to wait. Will PM mobile number to anyone who might be around

Suggest you give Roger a call, as I suspect he'll be around. If the new toy does turn up - give me a call too, as I want to come take some photos and it'll give me an excuse to avoid the job list /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hi TAM,

Yep, you are looking for a German truck with a 24 foot Mobo on the back of it. Blue hull, white topsides. Should be in before 16.30 though as they stop craning at 16.00. Will PM mobile anyway.

Rick,

Did think of Rog, but this is the one weekend he isn't down until after me. Will certainly give you a call and you can help me take the shrink wrap off if you like. Assuming it arrives I will be down there at about 18.00

Cool - give me a bell when you're on your way and I'll meet you there.

Cheers,

Rick, can we rely on you taking masses of detailed pics of said new mobo and posting them tomorrow night? As Jez won't be able to post more than 1 or 2 pics as it could be seen as advertising.

I for one am really looking forward to seeing pics if it.

Cheers

Al.

BTW, Have fun unwrapping her Jez /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can't get down until after dark when I can slip away from the proceedings.

Save some shrink wrap for me, I'll bring my Stanley knife ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Really looking forward to seeing this one, quite exciting eh? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hi Jez
Good to know the waiting is nearly over. You would be very welcome to use my berth if you like. Am currently sitting in Dartmouth and its blowing pretty hard and pouring with rain. Don't think we will be going anywhere for a day or two. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
However the companys good and i can think of worse places to be. Good luck with the boat. Look forward to the full tour when we get back.

The full tour???? It is only fractionally bigger than your tender /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I did pop down yesterday and noticed Ocean Tigress was away (there was a raggie in your berth!) so wondered where you had escaped to.

Hope the weather gets a bit bigger for you. At least the company is good (is that lunatic IGW down there with you?).

haha. What is it with boats that nothing goes according to plan? Very nicely the trucking firm have used a covered trailer, to keep it nice and safe. Thing is Sparkes only have sling lifts, not a forklift. Looks like the solution will be to take it to Hamble point in the morning and lift it of there with the dry stack fork lift.

Nothing is easy /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
