I think this boat has been for sale with boats.co.uk for a number of years with no takers.

Now on auction starting at €200k

5000nm mile range, room for crew and all your mates.

Let me guess: Great condition overall, but plating has worn a bit thin below the waterline?

I prefer my boats not to be dissolving as I am sitting on them.

How ironic - when I first got my sea ray we were moored opposite here for our first season.
And only tonight myself and the swmbo were looking at boats on the and this one came up

Even if you could not afford to run her it would make a lovely live aboard..... If the hull is sound

Jez, you could park it in the cheap Med berths in Sant Carles and take it across to the lagoon for a day out. Get Ricci to live on board in return for maintaining the thing. I can think of worse and dearer ways to retire!

For going transat by boat, I'd feel much safer doing it Nigelpickin style, rather than with this thing.
Should her main be disabled, even just temporarily, I don't dare thinking how frightening she would become, in any ocean swell.
And frankly, also for living aboard I wouldn't swap my humble 56 footer for her, even if I could at no additional cost.
I can only think of one potential buyer for her, and it's someone interested in a floating B&B business.

The interior is stunning. The only thing I don’t like is the stern, it looks like it was chopped off, not in keeping with her elegant lines

I got a new OAMMC (over active man maths calculator) for Chrimbo, its the most wild model yet, but even mine can't make sense of that boat.

At £200k I reckon no bids.

Its £100k houseboat in a creek in Kent.

If my memory serves me right - it was an elderly gentleman with his dog who was living on board when i was at Essex marina 2 1/2 years ago

Has been for sale at Boats.co.uk for a few years now, still listed on their website @ £1.5 million, obviously now keen to move on. Buying it is one thing but the running/maintenance costs would be huge.
