Looks to be less than £300 for an hour to an hour & a half, but you'll get some rowing practice and instruction before getting aboard.

I've always thought rowing was a means of getting from the boat to the pub and back when the outboard wouldn't work.

It always amused me when cruising in Scandiwegia that all the portrayals of Vikings on anything from postcards to T-shirts were of jolly smiling folk, the sort you might ask for tea, whereas our native assessment is usually rather less welcoming.

There are actual jobs like that…for example some zoos charge people to work there…with the incentive that maybe they will rise in the ranks to a (meagrely) paid position
