At the weekend I'm leaving from Plymouth to Madeira then Azores. Bit early to be sure but forecast looks good for departure first light Sunday.
First ocean for 10 years and quite a bit’s changed: Garmin in-reach mini 2, LED flares, AIS, Windy and nibbling Orca’s come to mind!
Coming back mid-august. I’ve left Azores late August on previous trips but there seem more gales later in the month than previously, so I brought the return date forward a couple of weeks.
Crazy busy with last stuff. But almost there.
