Anyone else out boating today?

After a quiet day yesterday and paying my respects today I am out on my boat, what a lovely day, anyone else out and about.

There are loads of boats already out for the winter, I wonder if they are regretting it, just a gamble perhaps as to what the weather will bring.

I'm in for the winter so looking forward to what that has to offer.

Ive was out in the Bristol channel ,and sailing the dinghy in cardiff bay fri ,sat and sunday.
No one else about much friday we were the only dinghy or boat of any description in cardiff mind you was a very windy nearly went for a accidental swim,
saturday few boats about but really to windy to do much had about 2 hours
Sunday was fanatastic got about 4 hours sailing in and crossed the bristol channel in a force 5 back to portishead
with wind against tide no sweat in the broom
What about you where did you get to ?

Presumably he was, like many, at a ceremony today and didn't get to the boat until after midday. But as he's been banned he won't be able to tell you that here.

Hellish day in the solent!

Yep, up early and out. Aweful day, no body about - well, apart from a few forumites of course!

Nice lunch at the Mary Mouse 2, then a quiet rune home at a very leisurly 24knts. Magic!

Why do you always get the nice days? I went out the other day with some friends and only saw spray and solid green water between Chichester and Portsmouth.
